Glazing metal with speedpaint is one of my favorite tricks, I try not to overuse it. Try a speed/contrast paint over gold, it gets some nifty effects.
Horus begins wailing as soon as I get on the phone, to the point my parents worry if they don't hear him in the background. I talk to myself most of the time, so he can tell the difference. Jerk.
