One the cats was outside during yesterday’s firework display. I was worried about her being scared and running off. Needn’t have bothered. This is what I found this morning.

Nothing here either 😩 Annecy was horrendous today. Heat and pollution made it unbearable. A few clouds over head at home now, but I doubt they’ll come to much.
The most popular are Aixam. Think they're a godsend for parents in rural areas : they can be driven by 14 year-olds, which saves all the worry of scooters etc. (And obligation of parents taxiing.) I see loads of them round here. My favourite is Fiat - looks like a toy 😆

#showmeyourknits is celebrating solstice with light/dark. So here’s my first attempt at a simple lace pattern and the Fairy Clock Shawl by #louisetilbrook and #scheepies whirl. Lots of mistakes 🤣 - and resulting undoing - but I’m looking forward to seeing the finished result! 🧶

8pm here, sky still blue. I managed to cut the grass, but I think I need a shower before I open the wine. All sorts of creepy crawlies managed to find there way into my tee shirt and took refuge in my bra. I’m itchy and stinging.
