I joined the SNP two years ago and helped them win in Easterhouse and Springburn. People weren’t that enthusiastic for this election but I believe we had the best polices in the end. Looking good for Plaid Cymru and the Greens too. 🏴🇮🇪🏴🏴

It’s worth remembering that David Cameron only agreed to a Scottish Independence referendum because after the SNP landslide of 2011, they were very likely going to hit the low threshold for independence set by Thatcher. Referendums are a tool for holding on to Scotland.

It’s a simple trick, this one. Everywhere in the U.K. runs a deficit apart from the south east, which has a high concentration of wealthy taxpayers. On paper, England’s deficit is less because it’s cancelled out by the ‘surplus’ in the south east.
