Sometimes for no reason I think about how on Reno 911 (2003-2009), Ben Garant wears a flack jacket over his cop uniform. He’s the only one who does, and it’s part of his character’s portrayal as a paranoid, over-armed redneck. Now, a couple of decades later, that’s how every cop I see is dressed.

I keep seeing these headlines about how these two aren’t gay in Season 2, but the obvious unanswered question is, Is ANYBODY gay in Season 2? Because nobody was in Season 1, and that’s a weird, telling choice for a show about high schoolers in the 2020s.
