Metal guy and left wing trash. He/him.
End of morning spin. Having an eBay alert on this guy finally paid off and now it is MINE. My attempts to manifest it at the local store may have failed but now I am going to space (Now spinning)
Apologies to everyone but the Sigh posting is going to get worse before it gets better. Gallows Gallery is Sigh firing on all cylinders. The clean vocals work extremely well with the arrangements which are all just tight as hell. A super fun album. (Now spinning)
It is happening again. I feel like this one has grabbed people a little less than Austin's other releases but the strings really work for me. (Now spinning)
I consider myself way less into death metal than the rest of metalsky and brutal death metal even less than that but this new Sallow Moth has a lot of extremely fun proggy flavor going on that's keeping me hooked. Banger album.
Going back to hell, y'all need anything? (Now spinning)
First spin of the day is a Panopticon of a different kind but no less majestic (Now spinning)
Gonna get these guys as a chest tattoo, forever facing off against one another
Have decided that if this guy thinks about it really, really hard he can start playing one of the CDs lodged in his head
Alright so let's see what this ZnoWhite business I've been hearing of is all about
I have learned of the Peugot 206 T16 and I am so mad that they only made 200 of them. We need an electric car that looks exactly like this
Every time I flip over to side B on The Nocturnes of Iswylm and the acoustic bit of Echoes in the Vasts of Sequestration kicks in I'm fairly certain I'm gonna hear Austin Lunn sing some Americana lol (Now spinning)
Baroness posting continues as I'm kicking off this three day weekend by spinning what may be their best album. Not a bad way to start the day. (Now spinning)
Yeah I think this one is still up there with the other best Baroness albums (which is half of them, easy) (Now spinning)
Alright y'all weren't kidding, this is pretty sick. Adding another war metal adjacent album that I don't hate to the list.
Closing out this gloomy Sunday morning by getting filthy with it. Some album art that absolutely nails the vibe of the album (Now spinning)
Was planning on spinning the latest Worm again tonight but the episode of For All Mankind we watched ended with a bunch of workers chanting "strike strike strike" and there was only one clear option from there (Now spinning)
Getting crushed by the heaviest weight. Was fortunate enough to see these guys several times before they split up and am grateful for it. (Now spinning)
Listening to that pre-historic metal again. They really missed a great opportunity to have a deluxe edition that comes with a real pitchfork (Now spinning)
Damn looking at that setlist it was like...the best it could possibly be for me personally at the time lmao
No one told me the new Temple of Void vinyl was gonna be so pretty (Now spinning)
The Sigh kick continues! Think my general opinion about their discography is slowly starting to form up.
Reminder if you haven't gotten your routine jazzgrind booster that Byonoisegenerator's Subnormal Dives from last year whips ass and is a great way to keep your immunity up
Tonight's spin. Love this album, love this band. This through Hangman's Hymn is a hell of a run
Today we headed up to the ice caves around Mount Adams. A little less ice than we were expecting but very cool. Going to go back with better shoes and better lights and really do some cave diving
Was totally blown away when I found out Cave Sermon, who released an EXTREMELY good album last year, had no physical media...until now! 2024's Divine Laughter got pressed on vinyl and it is fantastic. Here's hoping Fragile Wings is next (Now spinning)
Searched for Zozobra and dozens of images of this unsettling motherfucker popped up
