Oh, God... hearing/seeing that name again makes me feel like this picture looks.
It sure does feel like people are forgetting that two/multiple things can be true (and good) at the same time... "different strokes for different folks" has never stopped being part of reality, but what do I know?
As someone who has primarily played fighting games throughout his life & seen so many film adaptations of said games, this movie right here managed to nail both the kaleidoscopic aesthetic ‐AND‐ the proper narrative rhythm of what makes those very games so enjoyable (outside of gameplay).
