I'm out here laughing at the weirdest Odyssey takes that have crossed my bluesky path and meanwhile, on Facebook, there's levels of wacky content showing up in feeds that I can't even imagine.

Really excited to learn more about this ancient Greek concept of love that they called . . . ludus? For fans of explaining how CS Lewis is kind of doing his own particular thing and it's not really a good representation of ancient Greek word and concept use, now there's 7!

Thrilled to report that on our walk today, this little weirdo abandoned her ball, much to my confusion (she's half lab, she LOVES balls), only for me to see that it was because her mouth was occupied with not one but TWO strange eggs she'd found and was very gently carrying around with her

My Spanish is getting better, mostly in terms of futbol-specific words and things having to do with hidratacíon, but it was a real game-changer to learn that this and its banger of a 5.8/10 rating, is in English

Glamped our butts off near Pend Oreille, SUCH a great trip! Sammie is a bit of a pampered puppy so a yurt was much more her speed -- outside is for playing and digging, NOT sleeping!

So, to be fully transparent, i haven't read this because I don't particularly want to give them the clicks to encourage this kind of coverage, but the entire framing of all of this makes me confident that this is hot garbage being given credulity it doesn't deserve

Gotcha Day! Today marked SEVEN YEARS that Sammie has been in our life! She's gone from a tiny round little ball to a much longer (but just as cute and sweet and silly) girl who's brought so much joy to the last seven years!
