Mom and I are very close by the way. She had me when she was 18 and we do everything together when I come visit her. We talk at least twice a day on the phone. The Oodham on me comes from her side of the family (she's 1/4). :3
Bruh my sleep schedule all fuxored. I drove **all** Wensday and Thursday, didn't get home until 5:30 am Friday, Saturday I had like four hours of sleep, and I ended up napping most of today. I need to fix that shit. I'm getting too old to be tanking a 27 hour drive straight through.
Oh and in case no one brings it up again, I absolutely paid over $6/gall for gas in Susanville, CA. Upwards of $7 if you're a premium gas person. Here in Iowa it's about $3.59 a gallon. We were at $1.88 back in December.

My grandpa Ed also loved trees. He planted probably over a hundred on our little ranch. He specifically loved his orange trees, and he had a collection of different types. And a prized Meyer Lemon tree he babied. He and my grandma are responsible for my love of birds and nature.
I wanna share something with yall, because I believe that no one is really dead if you keep their memory going. This is my grandpa Edward. He's my hero. He passed after a battle with Leukemia in 2004. My grandpa was a WW2 veteran who fought Nazis in Germany.
I went outside yesterday to chase fireflies around my yard and a papa bird didn't like it. He sat up in Grandpa Tree (the old Ash tree in my yard) and yelled at me like MEEP MEEP. It always makes me chuckle.
