Retired Robinson-Huron Treaty settler in the middle-ish of traditional Anishinaabe territory. I've worked in mining, broadcasting, education. and IT. I've seen those sausages made. Don't ask.
Pretty good. Pretty beat. Turns out my friend read the calendar wrong and we had to get from Edmonton to Kirkland Lake in 3 days. That's a LONG 3 days. But we made it! Did some travelling around Alberta while there. Things were good! Here's the WeeRV in Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park
Saturday, in the park, I think it was the fourth of July. Actually, it was Friday, and the third of July, but it didn't change much.
A little RV. A van with a raised roof thing. My plan was to go east, but friend is going west, so, west it is! :) They're covering the gas as far as Edmonton, and going farther is on me. Works out great! :) And yes, this place is pretty good. :) Anyway, this is the RVlet, in my drive
Or driving down to Gatineau Friday, celebration of live Saturday, after party, and driving back home Sunday. Whoo! Here are my cousins, the newly minted orphans: Louise, Bob, Norm, Dianne, and Richard.
My sister, me, my cousin Bob, at the afterparty for Bob's Mom's Celebration of life. Val-des-Monts, Quebec.
Beware the Ides of March, it is said. But Julius Caesar didn't have to drive in this.
That's how deep the snow was on the car when I dug it out Wednesday. Sure, I hadn't moved it since Sunday, but that's a bunch of snow.
Me, about fifteen years ago, at my friend Mary's place. Mary was my high school prom date who promptly became a lesbian nun. (Mary took the picture)
