throwback to me doing a folklore inspired photoshoot in my backyard the day it dropped bc what else was there to do
first haircut in three years: a solid foot of hair off, my first curly cut, and some curtain bangs 🤭
i heard we should share pictures from our own weddings 🤍🥂 my husband & our wedding party walked down the aisle to a piano rendition of invisible string and i to sweet nothing. we exited the ceremony and entered the reception to paper rings and my mom & i danced to the best day 🤭
little angel number bike ride last night 🙂↕️ been battling extensor tendinitis in my foot so really missing my hot girl walks but biking will have to do
the greatest plot twist happened this morning. it was gone because they hatched not because anything bad happened 🥹
last one to add! i can’t lie i avoided this book for a long time due to the blurb on libby comparing it to the secret history and i was not a fan of that one. this novel included so many possible routes to the truth, so i was always guessing. overall, it was well written and very entertaining
i love when an author can tell a story piece by piece through a more unique format. the book spanned an entire decade while covering so many different life struggles and experiences and i really enjoyed it
i think jennette did a great job encapsulating the layers to grooming and inappropriate power dynamics. definitely a read that leaves you so uncomfortable at times but as it should given the nature of it all
haven’t updated this thread so let me do that. a little life was probably the saddest book i’ve ever read while also being one of the longest. an amazing read but will emotionally destroy you in so many different ways
