I was at Sam’s (aka Enemy Territory) yesterday and noticed a boomer-aged white man giving me a weird side eye. He finally sidled up to me and said very softly, “I like your shirt.” Absolutely made my day—thank you random man! This was the shirt:
I’ll end today with some Badgers, the worst books ever written. I have several shelves of these but they are mostly bagged so I won’t open them to photograph today. I’m grateful to the booksellers who know I love these and set them aside for me.
You have a great eye! The artist is Spanish surrealist Gervasio Gallardo and he also did The Last Unicorn and a number of other titles in the Ballantine Adult Fantasy series.
