Also when blocking, you have to block in the correct direction or you'll get crossed up Underking is a great fight to learn clash timing and crossup blocking on; also you can effectively option-select his lateral swing so you can either block crossups or jump over the spinslash

Still working on learning all the boss patterns in #Absolum for perfect runs but i'm pretty happy with this fight blocking attacks in this game is done by *dashing into them* which is a little counterintuitive but it also allows for certain techniques like tripguard. cool game

If you do it CORRECTLY you can defend/counter against reversal LK Hien and reversal EX Kazekiri and win with an ikken hissatsu. however, because the 2nd hit of EX Kazekiri must be HIGH parried, you do not get the benefit of cleanly dashing under the SA1/Kasumi Suzaku to fully avoid damage

i can't believe this actually worked in a real match (also i kind of derped the OS, explained in next vid)
