Folks can I get likes on this showing you agree it looks like 3 S’s and @eoinloughrey.bsky.social should recognise our efforts!
“Just one week before, the Union had reached ~200 members taking us over the 10% threshold required to seek recognition and begin engaging in collective bargaining.”
I have the Max Payne 3 one and it's glorious, dunno about this one tho
Happy anniversary @sonic-official.bsky.social ! I very much enjoyed being part of your world! (Invite me back!)
Nice one @animturnbull.bsky.social for hosting this! Here's my go at the February pose challenge!
It's been a great month for games (not so great for the people who make them) but I'm very grateful to have witnessed team @supersplinestudios.com along with the animators @twopointstudios.bsky.social do such great work on Two Point Museum!
Getting reference videos quickly can be a bit of a pain. Even the good apps like Stacher sometimes fall down. I made a tiny PyQt UI for yt-dlp, just takes one link per line and downloads it. Super useful, quick, simple. I shoulda done it years ago!
Throwback Thursday to the last bit of personal animation IO did for funz, felt rusty but I enjoyed having a go with Raf. Rig: @kielfiggins.bsky.social Model: @kenybigny.bsky.social Concept: Nicola Saviori Sparks vfx: @shadrakgf.com
I don't like public speaking but who does! Every 2 weeks we all take turns to share something cool / interesting / inspiring with the team and today was my turn. Just delivered this presentation which I THINK went ok? Really tests your understanding to try teach this stuff
Finally wrote a batch file processor in PySide after using hacky bits of code for years rather than just doing this which didn't even take long. Will I ever learn? Nah. Support dragging n dropping dirs from explorer which is convenient!
Game I've worked on #4 - Invincible Tiger. This is still one of my favourites! Really fun to play, fast, satisfying, challenging. Spent a while on this, my first "next gen" (360 / PS3) game. First go at combat, cutscenes, engine implementation, learnt loads.
Game I've worked on #3 - Tak & The Guardians Of The Gross. After Hogs Of War was cancelled I went a few weeks this which was already near finished. Learnt a bit about rigid bodies and getting them into a game. (Can't say for certain who did what on these files)
Using the 4 day week to have a serious spook today. Never played the original but I’m vibing so far!
