I really NEED more people to watch “Orb: on the movements of the Earth”, it got buried in Netflix and there’s no dub, so probably why it had less attention, but it’s fantastic. It’ll change your life 🫵
I read Persepolis in high school; we had one copy in the library. At the time, it blew me away that you could make comics with so much heart like this, about memory, displacement, conflict, etc. I've read and watched the movie plenty of times. Will forever be grateful for all Marjane Satrapi gave us

I was skeptical about the new Fist of the North Star, but it has grown on me. The English dub is abysmal, but if you have a few beers on you, it’s the funniest time you’ll have

My favorite comments for my film, Remember Us, about the Salvadorian civil war in the 90s, are usually like "Well, the Guerrillas also committed war crimes," or "we need to be more unbiased." 85% of atrocities committed by the state. How are you supposed to be unbiased with state-backed war crimes?

After two years on the festival circuit, our journey comes to an end. What began as a small animated project on historical memory became a bridge for difficult conversations about conflict and remembrance for a lot of people. More info on the release coming soon—stay tuned!

Holy hell I just found out my graphic novel Silenced Voices ended up on the NYPL Best of 2025 list!!! Incredibly honored and grateful to the educators and librarians that have championed the book. Literally wouldn’t happened without you.
