The night before Ella's hardest exam, and in the class that dropped her marks the most from her surgery absense, she had to battle constant lows & got absolutely no sleep. My heart breaks for how hard things have to be for her 😭

When they say "not everyone has the same 24 hours", I know there's a special connotation for type 1 diabetics and their caregivers. We battled a 3 hour low last night and will still be going to work/school today. I don't have a solution, but I can say the system is not designed for everyone #t1d
