This, to which I cannot reply, seems wrong to me. Were it true, Little Rock couldn't have happened. Eisenhower seized control of the Arkansas Guard out of active state duty. I would be interested to see a distinction or a legal change since 1957.
I actually think they can be reasonably trusted. Just add one of these first and the truth should come right out.
