Here is my story entry for the #FEModernPulse event! 4.4k words long starring Rutger and Lilina. They are taken a couple years after the events of FE6 so Lilina would be considered an adult by modern standards. Not a ship fic either for those who are concerned about that.

This is my entry for the #FEModernPulse event happening on Bluesky and Twitter. Rutger has been transported to modern day Tokyo and he's trying his best to fit in while also fighting the monsters he was brought here to handle, though it's a bit more of a lonely experience than he was expecting. So much so that he's wanting someone, anyone, from back home in Elibe to show up just so he can talk to someone without all these new fangled devices getting in the way. He gets his wish when, during a mission, he gets to team up with Lilina, a somewhat familiar ally with a heart of gold. He helps explain to her what's going on, but in turn she gets him to see that it's not people's devices that's getting in the way of conversation, it's his lack of effort in trying to talk to people that's making him feel so lonely.

I really wanted to share this awesome commission I got from @jonval-art on Twitter! It depicts Lilina and Rutger in an Old West setting after getting caught fooling around in one of the town's water towers. Not a good look for the sheriff (Lilina) being with the local 'outlaw' (Rutger).

The picture depicts Lilina and Rutger from Fire Emblem 6: The Binding Blade in an Old West setting. They are standing in front of an old style water tower at midday. They are both completely naked and dripping wet, though they are covered up slightly. Lilina uses her arm to cover up her chest while using her hat to cover up between her legs. Rutger is also using his hat to cover up between his legs. They are both very embarrassed because they got caught fooling around in the water tower which isn't a good look for the sheriff (Lilina) because she's hooking up with a local 'outlaw' (Rutger) (He's actually just a mercenary type with his own moral code.)
