Good morning, BlueSky friends! A strange bit of paper is attached to a Gray-Headed Coneflower (Ratibida pinnata) in the backyard this morning. At first it pretended to be a butterfly 🦋 🍒 #UrbanGaze #Wildflower #BloomScrolling #flower #garden #laughter #playful #love

A gray-headed coneflower, not yet blooming, has a very small piece of paper attached to their stem. The paper resembles a small butterfly, has ragged edges, is mostly white with a touch of ombré salmon color at one end ons an upside down cherry over the black letters’e’ and ‘r’ at the other end.
