Our paper, led by Luke Holden on dust destruction signalling shock-accelerated outflows, has been accepted in MNRAS. Deep spectroscopy of NGC 1068 shows that outflowing gas is compressed and dust-depleted, providing evidence that fast shocks are destroying dust. #astro doi.org/10.1093/mnra...
