I had this ready to go for the trolls but I haven't found one yet in the replies? What on earth? Is it finally getting to the point where people are starting to stop for a minute before posting and THINK about it?? Hades has truly frozen over.

What the meme gets right:

✅ The incident is real and documented. Biden said "some Republicans want Medicare and Social Security to sunset every five years," Republicans booed loudly, MTG yelled "liar," and Mike Lee was also yelling — Biden later joked he was doing "liar, liar, house on fire kind of stuff."

⚠️ It calls it Biden's "final" State of the Union — the Medicare/Social Security moment actually happened at his 2023 SOTU, not his final one in 2024. Small but worth knowing.

⚠️ "Every single one" is hard to verify precisely — it's more accurate to say the vast majority who protested that night later voted for massive cuts.

Bottom line: The spirit of the meme is solidly grounded in fact. The people who stood up and called Biden a liar for saying they wanted to cut those programs... then voted to cut those programs. That part is real. 😔

But is digital dominating because players prefer it?
No.
Digital dominates because:

more games are digital‑only

physical availability is shrinking

stores stock fewer discs

publishers push digital harder

digital is cheaper to produce and sell

the ecosystem nudges players toward digital

If physical were equally available, equally stocked, and equally supported?
The ratio would be much closer.

I don't know that it's so much "withholding" (except definitely in the case of injuries and destruction from Iran attacks) as much as they no longer have the ability they once had to inform us.

This made me crazy, so I asked. The answer surprised me, because I honestly thought this was some f*** sh** that was crazy. Apparently not . . . and I think that's a problem? Why is this a thing????

If a president donates their salary:

• the Treasury still issues the paycheck
• the president still receives taxable income
• the donation is a separate transaction

So the taxpayer cost is the same whether the president keeps it or donates it. This is why “$0.00” is not accurate — it confuses:

• what the government paid with
• what the president chose to do with the money afterward

Those are legally and financially separate things. The total salary paid to each of the last 10 presidents is exactly what is stated in the post. The only incorrect part is pretending that a donation = no salary paid.

It’s like saying:

• “My employer paid me $0 because I donated my paycheck.”
That’s not how payroll works.

In reading the article - after explaining the cost in lives and money of this type of activity - it shows us yet another thing that guy has done to harm people in this country, not help, that I was not aware of. Sigh.

So essentially, it's true. Because the post says "allows for" and based on this reply, it sounds like it absolutely is open to interpretation. I think it's safe to say with how things are going right now that if the language of the law "allows" it, then it will end up happening at some point.
