I had the opposite issue trying to turn in my citibike earlier this week — all stations full in my neighborhood (thankfully someone left and I snagged the last one) And I ended up having to pay for that extra 6 minutes of time. That doesn’t seem right.
Not adding to pollution during SEVERELY POOR air quality alert days by telling folks to stay out of their cars and minimize travel seems prudent @mayor.nyc.gov -- have you thought about it? Less running of diesel engines or heavy machinery for city work or construction work also seems wise.

Talking about the Fordham Road bus plan now. They need to make this special Bx12 bus lane run the ENTIRETY of Fordham, including its western-most extent, otherwise known as 207th Street in Upper Manhattan. Please, let's have a bus that connects the A-train to the 1-train to the MNR Hudson.
If you know this area— Kingsbridge near the proposed start of a new subway 12 line - you’ve seen the endless lines of people queuing up for the Bx9 and Bx12 bus. It has to traverse clogged streets with cars making it go walking speed or slower. 🙏 Fast transit Bus speed visualizer from @jehiah.cz
Getting east to west in The Bronx is hard. Really there is only Fordham road that goes through (and the highway). And the legit BIG hills make it a tough place to bike east west as well. Such a line would be transformative

I’m just about ready for New Years. Black Eyed Peas were always served for ‘luck’ on New Years Day in my family’s home (TX via OK), but these little beans remain rare to find as a staple and around nyc. My local Ctown grocer absolutely keeps them stocked for me this time of year though.
