This is Dippy, a life-size fiberglass dinosaur on display outside the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh.
Thankfully, mine doesn’t have a lot of issues. She might have an occasional dingleberry, but nothing messy. She gets mats, no matter how hard I try to prevent them. I take her to a groomer a few times a year to get her into good shape.

My cat is the sweetest thing ever, but she will not let me hold her, nor will she sit on my lap. She does ask for belly rubs, though.
I had a cat that would drop his toys into his food bowl. He'd also drop them into his water bowl, then take them out and put them in my lap when they were sufficiently soaked.
It took me over a year to find a fountain that Maisie can’t dump. She approaches it like a Ninja. If she had her way, though, she’d rather drink the water on the floor of the shower. Ick.
