Thanks to very generous ex-colleagues, I am Circle of Life-ing it today at The Lion King 🦁 Gift for my 60th last November so yes, my birthday celebrations have covered 9 months and counting! 🥳🥳🥳
The last Christmas in July read for the year! Lots of fun and heartfelt too so far #AmReading
Earlier start than normal so not even dawn yet but still … here’s today’s festive Christmas in July Book o’ the Dawn #AmReading
Wind turbines and cows and highway at sunset on our Christmas in July road trip
As we drive from Albury, it’s a misty cold morning with cows in the mist. Not quite gorillas I’ll grant you but still pretty lovely. 🥰
Traditional stop on the Hume at Heatherbrae’s, Sutton Forest … delicious as always … now back on the road we go 💨 💨 💨
On the road again! Wangaratta here we come for Christmas in July celebrations with the fam 🎄❤️🎅🎉🤶🥳
More #ChristmasInJuly reading for Book o’ the Dawn … brilliantly funny and clever 🎉 #AmReading
A little later than I’d like but life has been busy and I’m happy that at least the Christmas in July tree is now up. Led by good old Huckleberry Finn and with Bluey, Home Alone, Scooby-Doo and ELF along for the mid-year festive ride #ChristmasInJuly
Spent the afternoon losing myself in this Book o’ the Dawn Christmas in July pick. Not perfect but enjoyed it overall. #AmReading
An absolutely chronologically spot-on Book o’ the Dawn with an early start meaning I can make a screening of Supergirl at 4.15pm #AmReading #christmasinjuly🎄
Wrong end of the day Book o’ the Dawn … another Christmas in July read for the flight to Melbourne ❤️ #AmReadingFestively
Time for Christmas in July reading and reviewing and so, this year’s first festive mid-year Book o’ the Dawn #AmReading
Book of the Dawn for today’s commute is from the 2025 TBR and was plucked randomly off a towering stack. #AmReading
FINALLY proper winter weather … and a new Book o’ the Dawn for the first of two commuting days this week #AmReading
This week’s Book o’ the Dawn is an escapee from the deep TBR pile … living it! #AmReading (plus bonus sunrise shots of pastel blue and fairy floss pink)
Tuesday’s Book o’ the Dawn looks brilliant, the anticipation of reading dulled a little by the fact that it’s from a bookshop that’s now gone forever #AmReading
Trains at Merrylands at Sunrise … last day of commuting for the week!
Parramatta Station 1/2 hour ago … getting off the train was a challenge with so many trying to get on … all thanks to urgent repairs at Clyde 😜 #SydneyTrains
Another day of commuting - not raining as hard as predicted, so win - and another brilliant Book o’ the Dawn #AmReading
From one Book o’ the Dawn to another … the reading is very good atm 🥳 #AmReading
Split Enz last night was AWESOME! Had a fantastic time with my beautiful guy, the fabulous Stephen Moore and Tanya Kerr (thanks for organising!) … track work on the way home was not so great but coasted on the concert bliss ❤️
Loving my personally signed copy of Yeah the Boys by Holden Sheppard - a thoughtfully intense meditation on what it means to be gay in a way that’s meaningful to you #AmReading
The two latest Book o’ the Dawn novels - the first, Good Boy was beautiful, wrenchingly so at time but beautiful nonetheless and Beth O’Leary’s new one is off to a great start ❤️ #AmReading
I adored Remarkably Bright Creatures. A touchingly thoughtful exploration of the lingering nature of grief and how hard it can be to start living again, the film is one of those immersively beautiful, humanity grounded stories that really speaks to your heart. Sally Field is superb as you’d expect.
Scenes from a station … the final day of commuting for the week 🎉🎉🎉
Two buzz books of the moment for today’s Book o’ the Dawn - Mad Mabel is as brilliantly affecting as promised and Yesteryear has been so glowingly reviewed across the board that I am confident it will meet expectations too ❤️ #AmReading
Final fantasy read of April, started last night and finishing up on the first Book o’ the Dawn commute of May #AmReading
