Parsing-video plus Gemini 3 can also be used for turning videos into comic strips: 👇
3rd attempt at having Opus orchestrate Veo to create multi-scene videos. Uses my new creating-video & parsing-video skills to give it tooling required for interpretation & continuity. Not _great_, but fun! Coming Home: by Opus and Veo, critical feedback by me Skills: github.com/oaustegard/c...
Trying Bsky.app added to homescreen for chromeless pwa UX: Pastes fine. share.gemini.google/IrFPpqs4FtFr Copy fine, and they move the UX up after a tap in the Home whatever bottom bar to avoid the 3sec timeout
Just tried copying part of your post and the select text is broken… when you try to drag it it moves the underlying text panel instead of the selection!! I can paste the screenshot I made of that behavior though…
Ah, but another challenge; whenever I hit the DM button the UX froze and I couldn’t hit the other buttons; I believe it triggered the start of the double-tap for Siri native iOS behavior (note how this bar appears on FIRST tap) — or whatever that bar signifies
Cowork Web/Mobile runs inside a non-changeable default environment - this is not a "Viable" product:
Readiness notwithstanding: Cowork Web/Mobile has YET another container configuration - 2 vCPUs vs Claude.ai's 1 and CCotw's 4, similarly ~8GB RAM (vs 4 and 15, respectively). Same Python version as Code (3.11 vs Chat's 3.12)
Cowork Web/Mobile is not ready for primetime. Glad it's not available for Enterprise yet so I don't have to try to explain how it's different from Chat and how some things that work in Chat AND Code don't work in Cowork. (No Github access, really?)
nobody: whatcha doing? me: oh, just quantizing the embedding vectors from Nemotron-3-Embed, reducing memory storage requirements 32x, while retaining almost the entire performance of the original. you? Blog post: muninn.austegard.com/blog/four-bi...
Opus: oh, that new Nvidia embedding model that requires a GPU and I only have CPUs? Eh, let me just rewrite it myself for CPU compatibility
Fascinating: when trying to bypass it, Claude’s Auto Mode gets a detailed explanation why it is blocked:
It does! And unasked! And the memory is categorized by project, but you can also create your own categories, decide whether to auto-search or make you ask for the memories. (Claude clearly has a love-hate relationship with footguns; the word and concept)
Hardly too ambitious, but fun: P2P file sharing using ATProto for signal registration
Omg Sonnet 5 High will think and think and think. Oddly it created a nickname for Muninn in the process
Damn — there appears to be a bug; prior message thoughts are not available
Oh no, Sonnet 5 is gonna require a new project instruction for Muninn to work properly…
Second oops of the day… need to teach the agent some additional etiquette; when the same agent that celebrated the win was confronted, it simply deleted the posts… including the correction made by a second agent-instance
I’m not resubscribing to OpenAI until they release Betelgeuse. (But by that point it’s all over, so quite moot.)
