I love finding stuff like this in tabs online. ("Watch out") It reminds me of marking up sheet music for band/piano. It's _at least_ a measure too late for my brain, but you do you, mate.

Still pretty stuck on this calligraphy thing. I think this might be my favorite bit that Trent’s ever written. I dunno. All of The Fragile is up there.

Did a thing over the holidays. Still trying to figure out flourishing and consistent spacing/shades. (digital)

“The Spectacle is not a cluster of images, rather it’s a social relation mediated by all those images. Images are all there is. The quality of life is being impoverished, embrace the loss of knowledge and critical thinking.” Written in dark gray on a cream colored digital approximation of paper in an attempt at copperplate calligraphy with extremely gratuitous flourishing. At the bottom is the citation “preboreal The Ocean” which is a song based on the book The Society of the Spectacle by Guy Debord which I’ve never managed to get very far into.

Calligraphy Instagram is so full of saccharine bullshit, holiday greetings, and wedding invitations… I’m going in the opposite direction with my practice sheets. India ink (Either… dirt) is remarkably different feeling. (It’s been a very industrial Christmas)

A copperplate calligraphy practice sheet that reads “can this world really be as sad as it fucking seems Either let me go or put me in the dirt It was not my fault you were unloved when you were a child, I wasn’t there.” In three different inks that mostly all look black but I swear two are blue.

This is a fun thing to have installed and forget about. You're reading a website and suddenly they're talking about "My Bloody Horny Werewolf" or "Bullet for my Horny Werewolf" (a random example I happened to find in my screenshots folder)
