The Hot Dog Guy meme, where it’s my 11-month-old boy starting out of the mesh on his playpen at the teethers and binkies that provide relief for his sore gums and that he elected to chuck over the side.

I had spent plenty of time in my neighborhood before we had a baby, but since I started walking Cosme we’ve ventured farther afield. I did not have the appropriate appreciation of the park running along Eutaw. It is ridiculously nice.

Three fountains that dot the park along Eutaw in Baltimore. None currently work, but still serve as anchors for a wide range of plants, flowers, trees and open space for residents. The first is a large planter bristling with flowers. The second is a tiered fountain topped by some form of waterfowl. The third, in the distance, is the Key Memorial.

A wide expanse of grass dotted with trees fills the scene, small rose bushes ring a circle of sidewalk in the center of the image, and many trees flank the sides and fill the background.

Doing my best to keep the kid’s face off the internet, but here’s his spiral galaxy impression for you.

The back of my infant’s head; he’s 8 months old and the hair has formed a perfect spiral, like a hurricane approaching the Gulf Coast or the Milly Way Galaxy. I’m informed the back of my head also looks like this, but I’ve never really seen it so who can say?

High Heat Procedures:
When the heat index reaches or exceeds 90°F high heat procedures shall be implemented. This includes employee rest periods or alternative cooling and control measures, and mandatory employee monitoring. Rest periods should follow the table below or NIOSH recommendations.
Employers shall implement an emergency response plan. This plan shall include procedures for communication, response, monitoring and care, emergency contact, and transport.
