Escaped the neighbours from hell. Found a plum tree in my new house. Had some great friends help us move everything as smoothly as possible. Went to a rooftop and saw the eclipse with my pals. An insane 48 hours. Mad to feel loved and supported and encouraged to grow.

I keep seeing this stupid cartoon (its good intentions entirely cancelled out by it being made for The Guardian) on my feed and thinking about just how incessant the paper's transphobic line is, to the point where it showed up in things like a review (since edited) of a season of Sex Education

From the first version of the Guardian's review of Sex Education S4: "There is gender identity representation via Abbi and Roman, with the latter seemingly there solely to offer Cal (Dua Saleh) the sight of someone further down the road to transition and fill in viewers on the length of waiting lists and the costs of private surgery. If Sex Education were staying true to its early, far more radical roots, it might have questioned the idea of surgery on healthy bodies as a cure for anything, but although it hints later at the potential downsides of relentless positivity, here the rule remains absolute affirmation only."

Good few days in Brussels! Lots of fun things to Look At

Going through Fry Customs at the Fry Museum.

Tintin, Snowy, and two other Tintin characters (I think one is Captain Haddock, I’m not super au fait with Tintin, they just look cool as fuck) in space suits at the Belgian Centre for Comics. Did you know Tintin was the first man on the moon? Look it up!
