"Per Audacia, Ad Astra." I have no plans for what I'll be doing on Monday nights now. Maybe I'll spend my free time hoping for the return on #MONDAY_RELIEF. In the meantime, I hope everyone cherishes all the memories we've had together. Thank you, xiriya-san! See you starside!
"Dream Fighter." From this distant vantage point, #MONDAY_RELIEF has been more than just a music event or a club. It's been a family to me. One where everyone shared memories every Monday to press on together, so we could make our Mondays an enjoyable day of the week.
"Light you left..." After visiting 177 weekly events without fail, over 20000 captured photos, I always hoped we'd reach MR 999. But for the run we've been on, I'd say it has been an experience to remember for the rest of our lives...
"...it's a Marathon." 300 weekly events without missing a single one is no ordinary feat, and to celebrate with the release of a community-focused music compilation is a wonderful experience!
"It's not a sprint..." In 2026, multiple ideas were conceived, starting with inviting xiriya to open up a special new event titled "PRESSURE EAST". He's offered me plenty of opportunities to play at MR, so I thought I'd return the favor by inviting him to debut the event!
"The Moon is still shining..." Another year goes by in the blink of an eye, and to close the year, everyone had the chance to share music at a special version of xiriya's home world. Along with it came a special compilation release of music by DJs of MR!
"The show must go on!" For MR 284, it was originally supposed to be a collaboration event with REFLECTION, but unfortunately there was an AWS outage, and we weren't able to login to VRChat. Thus, we enjoyed our Monday night on Twitch instead!
"Monday Relief's Malaysia Relief" xiriya also decided to come visit Malaysia for SuperGT, and we had the opportunity to meet the Monday man himself, who gave us plenty of souvenirs! (I'm glad he also got to try our national dish!)
"I will ALWAYS be there." For #MONDAY_RELIEF's 5th Anniversary, we returned to the old lounge for one night only... And I crashed... But I'm still there! Somewhat... (Thanks @mastervr.bsky.social!)
"Hello (New) World!" For MR250, xiriya initially invited us to play for a special Malaysian-DJ MR. However, as MR249 would land on my birthday, I suggested the event be held on 2025.02.17 to make it a double celebration. Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl show inspired me for my set.
"New year, new memes." A new year begins, and another run of amazing Monday nights begins... This time, with prints flung around for the best moments. (Everywhere I go... I can never escape the (Ghost) voices...)
"Sharing the memories... With prints! With the introduction of Prints to VRChat to close off 2024, I was able to pull off the popular "Sneaky photographer" trend in-game while also challenging myself to "Stealth deliver" the photos to people at events. A smiling KLU3 seen?!
"Rule of 2s / Duality" The 2nd time I sent an application to play at #MONDAY_RELIEF was for MR 222. I decided to challenge myself as I entered my 2nd year of DJing. I decided to play 16 tracks (because 2^2^2=16) for my set. I enjoyed mixing music from my first MR event duo!
"xiriya is (not*) here!" For one Monday, xiriya had an emergency where he couldn't be online to run MR, but thankfully, we had prepared an alternative solution so he could still be here with us for the event... kinda...
"A Raven's Guiding Moonlight" After my emotional Christmas performance, I was approached by xiriya for the opportunity of a lifetime. MR200. A 24-hour event. 1-hour slots each performance. I decided to continue the tale of a wanderer searching for purpose on this special day.
