I think I’ve finally got the overlap bug out of my ‘Zipatone’ pattern brush for Procreate. It was fine unless you zoomed out. This means I’ll be able to offer through my Kofi soon as part of a pack I’m developing.

Someone on reddit complaining about a chatgpt bug that makes all their images textured 😂

Is there any news about fixing the texture bug that makes my head want to pop off?

The last news I found was from over two weeks ago, but this has gotten completely out of control. Every image I generate looks like trash. Are they even working on this anymore? I’ve submitted tons of bug reports at this point and it doesn’t matter. When I ask gpt to fix it, the little ahole makes it worse.

For those asking, I have emailed [support@openai.com](mailto:support@openai.com). They had me try to generate a new image, it still crosshatched. They had me use prompts to prevent it, it still crosshatched it. They told me to use “simple textures”, so I asked chat which textures are easiest for it, created a picture with those textures, and it still crosshatched it. They had me use prompts to fix it, it still crosshatched it. Support finally told me that they “don’t have a public fix ETA available”. So, they’re of no help.

Someone sent me this ancient comic which didn’t really get seen anywhere outside of the magazine it was published in circa 2005-2006.

A 20 panel comic that explores why I lived in Ballarat. It has personal detail about my history and life, different job so had and deciding to go to art school. The comic was made probably about 20 years ago. There are too many panels to transcribe the entire comic.

Feeling blessed to have Anderson .Paak answer my AMA question about his Tiny Desk session which is one of my all time faves 😍

I was the one who told my team that I wanted to book Tiny Desk. I remember seeing T-Pain perform there, and being really hyped about it and I thought it could be really cool if the band hopped on there. There wasn't a lot of people that knew that we were an actual band and that I could play drums and perform.

But I didn't know we had to perform that early.

The day we performed, we were on tour at the time, one of our first headlining tours, and it was grueling. They woke us up at 8 a.m. or something. And they were like, "we're here to take you to Tiny Desk" and I was "oh shit, who the hell booked this?????", and it was me, I booked it. So we were hungover (that's why we were all wearing sunglasses) and I almost didn't do it, they had to drag us in there.

I was really dreading it. I didn't think it was going to sound good. I thought it sounded like shit because we've been playing festivals and I've been screaming and staying up late and I was stressed because we had never played so quietly before, and there was only one mic in the room. I just thought to myself "ok, so this is going to be devastating when it comes out", but then during it I started having fun.

We didn't even know what the set list would be until we got there. I opened up requests to the crowd and didn't know they'd request Suede, so we were just going off the cuff. I don't think we had ever even played that together as a band, so everything you see is all very natural, the banter, everything.

And when it came out, it came out. You can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on big music videos with all this production, but then the most viral thing we've ever done was just us playing in a regular office.
