I grew up with the space program. Apollo was always my first love, but I'm really fond of the Gemini program. It doesn't get anywhere near the respect it deserves. So, when the Kickstarter for this came out, I had to jump.

Seems the O'Malley gang have a little moonshine set up in an unassuming garage. Garage by Sarissa, figures from Bob Murch's Call of Cthulhu line for RAFM, bootleg still is 3d printed from Hobgoblin (no longer in business), crates and barrels from a Lenox Christmas decoration set.

My latest acquisition. This puppy was just over $100 and looks so much more expensive. And, weirdly enough, it fits better than almost all my other watches.

I have discovered microbrand watches! This is the retro Hughes Corporation inspired quartz chronometer from Riley Watch Co. I believe they are using a Seiko movement. I'm am a happy camper.

A couple of months ago I mentioned receiving the PDF of Carved in Stone, a history and cultural exploration of the Picts. This week I received the physical book, and it is gorgeous!

Yesterday was Suzy's gotcha day. We've had her 6 years. But I was too busy to post about it. Part of it was playing with Suzy, but it was mostly me puttering about. Here's image tax as payment. As you can see, Suzy is suitably chastising me.

My most recent print project is complete: a three-storey building from the Outpost Origins line, by Dragon Rest. It came from a building kit, but I had to design the building myself. I built it with an optional lower roof so that I could use the first level as a warehouse or something.

I ordered this book last month but I just now downloaded the PDF. Carved in Stone is a gorgeous, amazing book on the history and culture of the Picts, with (only) one of its purposes to serve as an RPG sourcebook. I can't wait for the physical book!

Microsoft posted a blatantly photoshopped image of "Kyoto" on Windows Spotlight (you might have seen it on your login screen). The pagoda is at Kiyomizu-drra in Kyoto, the mountain is Mont Fuji, more than 350km from Kyoto! The altered picture is on Shutterstock. You won't see this view in Kyoto!

Last night's Godlike 2e playtest. Stalingrad, Sept 1942: German school teacher manifested as the mythical dragon Fafnir. Soldier Balabonov seized a sword from the treasure pile & went all Sigurd on Fafnir's belly. Random hit location followed the legend: dragon slain, State Bank cleared of fascists!

Also added another office decoration today: my LEGO McLaren F1 car is in a display box.

Got my Halloween display up at work. I need to work on it for next year: need cobblestones and a backdrop.

I'm kinda proud of this. It's a set of insert trays for the Shadows Over Normandie game. This was my first time designing a game box insert from scratch and then printing it.

It's been many, many, many years since I built anything with Legos (and the last thing was actually Megabloks). This was fun, if more time consuming than expected: last year's McLaren Formula 1 car.

On the plus side, the knife was very much sharp enough for the task at hand*. On the minus side, it was a bit too long... *pun intended

Hey @rachelkivey.bsky.social look what arrived today! Alana got one, too! (The price was like $60 less than they want for our local team's jerseys, and while the logos are appliques, the crest is sewn on. VERY pleased! Way better than any Fanatics crap at a much higher price point.)

Pictured is a pretty large encounter in Godlike or Wild Talents with 8 super NPCs using my completed One Roll Engine dashboard and action declaration tokens. The tokens are color-coded by use. Each dashboard has room for Post-It tags for the NPC's name, some stats, etc.

I now have a cool Leafs jersey, to go with my black Stars jersey and my Team Canada jersey! Toronto skyline on the sleeves, and Drew House design inside.

This is a prototype for a 3D printed One Roll Engine dashboard I'm working on. Roll the dice and place the matching sets in the two rows. There are slots for magnets, as you'll need one per major NPC. My next step is to shrink it a bit.

Probably not, as he's squaring off against a distracted Sir Robin. This is my celebrity shelf, with the Holy Grail knights (never got a Tim or Pansy), Mifune, James Coburn from Cross of Iron, and Jude Law and Ed Harris from Enemy at the Gates.
