The Kid is on March Break, and we're doing a bunch of crafts together. I asked him to design a new toy for our cat, and he drew a picture of this boxy little dude with red eyes, who he wanted to "run away!" from the cat & have a switch. I improvised. I love this awful little guy with the leggies.
My grandmother loved Scott and Tennyson. I have the idea that Victorian literature was alive and well in the colonies, especially before the Second World War. 3/3

5/5 I admit, I have never *read* this book, I just loved its odd luxurious binding and grabbed it for my shelf.
