“Bastard grant us, in our direst need, the smallest gifts: the nail of the horseshoe, the pin of the axle, the feather at the pivot point, the pebble at the mountain’s peak, the kiss in despair, the one right word. In darkness, understanding.”
I wouldn’t think they’d have to seat his appointment. By the text of the 17th, he could force a special election and that might be arguably legal, but the 17th is specific that the legislature doesn’t *have* to let him fill the seat by appointment.
And indeed, the opening paragraph repeats the error, and never corrects itself. Perhaps I’m just being petty though. Evangelicals annoy me, so I enjoy reminding this group that THEY broke faith the church because the church wasn’t antisemitic enough.
A have free month of Fitbit plus, and I’m amused at its commentary at my sleep patterns. Essentially, around 37-38, my body decided 5-6 hours was enough sleep every night and adapted accordingly. No alarm or anything, this is just my natural wake up. My watch is very distressed by this pattern:
Oh this part is hilarious. How the joke go? “None of my actions from birth to 3pm yesterday should be held against me. I was a different person then.”
Quote post with something good that lasted longer than the Confederacy (1861-1865) Scion car brand (2003 to 2016)
The bit about having to have his “mark on [our] brows” admittedly worried me for a while there.
Please keep in mind that this is the specific conversation you’re replying to, where someone is asking why Molly was not giving explanations of how what she’s doing bears some of the marks of a scam. So, again, why ask for explanations and then immediately dismiss them?
This is a reply I got yesterday when I suggested this. And like, even if I bought that, wouldn’t now, this week, make the most sense to start making those pinky promises? Midterms are 6 months away and they’re hardly going to get a more credible opportunity to pivot on this issue.
This is the most likely explanation I’ve seen, that there was a 10 million in the OBBBA that.m can be used to support our borders, which TSA arguably falls under (and fwiw, I agree with that logic).
Petty grievance of the day: I do not like how Apple Music sorts their category view. I almost exclusively listen to DJ Mixes on Apple Music. It’s the primary reason I have the service at all. But every time I have to go hunting for it because it moves every day, sometimes more often.
This book contains one of my favorite passages in Diskworld. One I think of often because it is constantly relevant. Which is fairly surprising about a scene describing a small dog playing with a large vibrator, but maybe it shouldn’t be.
Never mind. I realized the answer to my question. They’re hoping that they can make the optics go their way this time due to Philadelphia’s racial make up.
I am inexplicably subscribe to emails from Daily Caller. Usually I simply delete them, but occasionally there’s a surprise inside. This morning, even they are going “these dumb motherfuckers…”
I just purchased a condo a few months ago, so this is the first Christmas “Tree” in my own place. We had my dad’s service Saturday, so it was nice to have this to come home to.
Meanwhile I was a member of my college’s queer student union in 2002, and “Queer studies” was already an actual department before I started there. Just such a bizarre thing to try to argue.
Hi! You seem to be confused by how English works. For the record, this is you, threatening Courtney w/ concentration camps. Indirectly in the first skeet, directly in the second. That you include yourself does not take away your threat of “Do as I say or you’ll wind up in a concentration camp.”
The post you replied to quite clearly said the +13 was at the start of Trump’s term, not in October, so not sure what “error” you’re referring to.
