Update: according to the Egyptian MiG-23MS flight manual: empty airplane is 10,430 kg ALMAZ-23 radar is 262.5 kg ASP-PFD-21 sight is 32.8kg
Alright! I finally found out how much an empty MiG-23MS weighs. MiG-23UB -- 10,945 kg MiG-23MF -- 10,860 kg MiG-23MS -- 10,430 kg MiG-23ML -- 10,230 kg
Even more impressive considering its performance and the level of miniaturization and light weight.

Never knew that the F-4E's AN/APQ-120 had an elliptical antenna. From what I could find, it's 18×27 inches (46×69 cm). The F-4B (AN/APQ-72) and F-4J (AWG-10) had 32 inch (81.3 cm) circular antennas.

Zare-Nejad approached without radar within AIM-9 range, but couldn't fire due to a technical problem. So he approached within cannon range and fired. The MiG-25 made it back to base, but was later written-off.
On 4 July 1986, an Iraqi MiG-25RB that was returning from attack on Tehran was decelerating towards Iraqi border, was caught (at M=0.9 H=9,000 m) by F-5E Tiger IIs flown by Col Mohammad Zare-Nejad and Capt Majid Shabani, from TFB.2 (Tabriz).
