This gameplay loop really is much more satisfying than I thought as someone new to the genre. A list of goals that then matter to yourself and your neighbors who are a small charming cast of characters.
Started Fields of Mistria tonight and i have to say as my first farming sim this is kind of addicting. I definitely didnt intend to stay up this late playing it but i just kept "one more thing-ing" myself 😂
Jumped right into Langrisser 2 remake after I finished 1. These have been quite enjoyable. Closing in on the end of this one as well. Probably like 4 battles to go from where I currently am. The JP voice acting and art for the big moments really adds something compared to the old days
That’s Langrisser 1 completed. Since I played that one a lot as a kid and never finished it’s a long time coming.
" Though I Am an Inept Villainess " has been way more interesting and touching than i was expecting going in based on the concept. Some really thought provoking ideas here about mindset, direction, and drive. #anime
Found a good sale on Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2. There is something incredibly satisfying about sawing through a tyranid with a chainsword or just smashing it to bits.
Mission 3 down. That was crazy fun and the story is getting nuts. #007FirstLight
Finally got a start on Bond. Enjoying everything so far, interesting close combat with some meat to it, decent driving, stealth. Looking forward to playing more.
I suspect this is more due to society being set up to drain us than my actual age but one thing about 40 is even though I’m in good shape I can no longer pretend. This time I FEEL old. 😅. I’m making the best of it though.
Enjoying my time with Final Fantasy 7 : Rebirth enough I may actually finish it this time and then do Bond. The break was a good idea. Feels fresh again.

Pragmata is a great game for me. Diana is excited about every little thing and though I lost my childlike wonder long ago this game still has even me going “awww look how excited she was about X” #Pragmata

Resident Evil Requiem complete. Probably haven’t enjoyed a RE game that much since OG 2. Great weapon variety. The different perspectives really made for some great storytelling, and I loved how they used all the lore as an old fan. Very satisfied with the ending as well. Awesome end boss.
