US gas prices are averaging $4.105. Also severely under-reported is that the US Strategic Oil Reserve is at a 45 year low not because of a natural disaster, not because of foreign action, not because of OPEC, not because of a pandemic but solely because of Trump's illegal war of choice.
Whelp, gas hits a national average of $4 a gallon, and Iran pledges no oil will pass the strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile our doddering president is wandering around the World Cup trophy presentation like a confused old man.
The @nytimes.com put up a woefully sparse map of "confirmed protests" that minimize the scale of what it happening today. There were five #NoKings protests in Somerset County NJ today alone, yet the only dot for NJ is Newark. This pic is Franklin, NJ. @jamellebouie.net

So Trump says that because WalMart did so well in the Joe Biden economy in 2024 they should take a hit in the Donald Trump tariff economy of 2025. This encapsulates Trump perfectly: Use Biden's excellent economy to destroy America's democracy. Any way he can.
I am glad Shoeless Joe will be eligible for the Hall of Fame, but folks need to stop minimizing what he did. He may have played well, but he knew his teammates were cheating and gave them cover. He was a part of the conspiracy, even if he hit. Still, he belongs in the Hall.

Trump is an arsonist dressed as a fireman so he can be a hero at the blazes he sets. We may be better off with the "China deal" than yesterday, but if Trump never lit the fire we'd be even better off. China still doesn't want our stuff because they can't trust us thanks to the Arsonist in Chief.

This was the American flag in 1863 after West Virginia became a state of the Union. Notice there are 35 stars, one for every state that had ever been accepted into the Union to that point. Because there was no secession, just treason. This is American heritage, not the Confederate battle flag.
