Whine a lot. Ice cream lover. she/her
Listen pooch I love to snuggle but this must be touching every time I sit down feels a bit restrictive.
This girl has some limited sight return and has blood work as close to normal as it has ever been in past few years. I did not think we were going to get here and I am bursting with joy.
Well I canned 5 quarts and 12 pints of peaches and then everything in my kitchen was sticky and I was sick of canning. Everything left that I chopped got shoved into booze.
It's been on my list for nearly 20 years but I finally made myself a crepe cake. (My bday is not until the end of the month, but my FIL's bday is Monday. Everyone is coming over tomorrow for a joint celebration and my FIL just goes along with whatever I want every year.)
Kelsey was not living her best life with all the scary booms. Big shout out to J who is our resident party pooper and took care of her so I could be carefree.
We've had heat index warnings all week. It has taken my dog 4 days to realize the shade is better. Her brain cells all went to vocabulary learning, not common sense.
Have started working through peaches and prepping ice cream base. Testing the absolute maximum capacity of my blender.
How's unemployment going this week? My brain is still broken but I just bought 50lbs of peaches so I'm SURE that will help fix everything.
We have the everything tax here. (Cheese is truly the only consistent currency paid)
A favorite discussion was always road trip snacks so they enjoyed picking out different things. Also sourced me a Buc-ees shirt (I'm so excited we're getting one in WI)
One more day and set to be a total shit show. We have no staff, no plan, and I'm just going to somehow walk away.
I was gone all day yesterday at children's sports. It was fantastic but someone remains salty about it. Velcro puppy does not want me to do anything but snuggle today.
We made it to nine! A really scary year of liver failure and sudden blindness, but Kelsey is thriving. Happy Birthday darling girl.
These are pricier than I remember (as you would need multiple packs) but maybe something like this (I didn't link as not sure if Michael's exists by you) so they could each draw/color their own messages?
We did a cellophane ball for the kids which was as both wonderful and horrible as we knew it would be. Big thanks to my SIL who brought the intensity and enforced turn taking ripping the ball away so I didn't have too.
I will give extra shout out to my middle niece (our own personal jack-o'-lantern) who happily participated in every game and activity and was the only child not to cry.
Had to leave work to take Kelsey in for a sample to see if latest round of drugs is working. My boss kicked me out and said not to come back. So I'm snuggling her with my new blankie and a smoothie. Relaxation at last.
I have a turkey hat because my family always does a turkey trot on Thanksgiving. I think J had a roast turkey hat from some friendsgiving we used to host but it's long since made its way into donation.
If I fully relax I might have a full blown breakdown, but for now this is enough and I am not at work.
Same antibiotic formulation but I guess pharmacies can just charge whatever they want at whim? I do not understand. Also Costco I am definitely giving you some major side eye.
Oldest niece was only one to willingly offer candy to share with me, and that is not who I would have bet on.
