Nope, it's this one. I read Raft, then Timelike Infinity, now Flux and then Ring. There's a collection of related short stories called Vacuum Diagrams as well. Amazing deep science fiction.🤓😆 Any specific history? It does seem to repeat itself...at least for now, TACO has relented ffs... 🙄

@hubbs.bsky.social, this is my latest attempt. I thought I had killed my original 6 year old starter, but I found a small container in my freezer! It took a week to bring it back, but it made this loaf, all Bread Flour. It's not perfect, as one side didn't rise enough, but I'm getting better!

I know! Kicking myself for not realizing that sooner lol! 😂 Thank you! It takes pretty much an entire day to make one loaf, and this recipe makes 2, so win! Here’s one I made last week as a test.

@hubbs.bsky.social Still lacking in oven spring and ear formation, but better than before. My issue is too high hydration and too long a proof on the one loaf. Despite how it looks, it's still an absolutely delicious mix of All Purpose, White Whole Wheat and Organic Rye.😋

I did! "FungusBoy"😂 OK, last photos. My first round loaf was for my homemade razor clam chowder. The pancakes rock and the "sponge" also freezes well.😋 www.kingarthurbaking.com I started with their flour and used their recipes for everything! Buy their $10 starter too! It makes amazing bread!

My 1st starter also failed and I have no idea what went wrong. 2nd time worked! Once I'd made a ton of loaves, I froze some and it worked even 6 months later! Save your leftover starter from each feeding in the fridge and once you get enough make sourdough buttermilk pancakes...they are BOMB!😋😛

OK...that looks fantastic!! When the pandemic hit, I learned how to grow my own sourdough starter, and after multiple batches, the last loaf I made last year, was this beauty. It's a lot of work, but now I can make 1 round and 2 pan loaves in one go and it's so worth it!!
