Pigs by Night. Adult javelinas and one baby cross our driveway in the cool of night. They're heading for the side of the yard that has all the water dishes and the salt lick.

Down to 97° today in Tucson with some cloud cover. Our humidity is up four points from yesterday to a whopping 13%! I wish I could send some of our dry air east and you could send us some rain.
And those are probably inherited from family which makes them more special.💕 I've never used the antique fish knives one of my aunts gave me but I do use the little pickle forks. Wlhen I was a kid I was fascinated by them cuz I thought they looked like little devils pitchforks.
Trying to keep the bird and critter water bowls topped up in 7% humidity and 105 heat. Ready for bed since we're getting up at 530 to get outside stuff done. Are you harvesting tasty garden goods?

#hawk Cooper's hawk in his usual afternoon place. He'll dip his feet in and out of the water and sometimes gets right into the dish. It's 103° right now but the humidity is just 7% so it's just mind numbingly dry and we're filling all our water dishes four times a day because of evaporation.

#quail Early morning Sunday swim with 2 adult Gambel's quail hens and their clutch. This is very late for little guys. Usually they hatch out Feb-April but if they lose a clutch they will lay a second batch. Many dangers out there for baby quail.😢
Your squirrels are cuter than my ground squirrels. Probably less destructive too.
