Here for banter about movies, tech, London ̶N̶Y̶C̶ ̶, comics, some sportz, and unfortunately US politicz 😵💫 Here's my Letterboxd: Be cool. ... please don't request to follow me if you are following 10,000+ people, you will be blocked.
In addition to being extra alien fodder, expecting this level of "self-sacrifice" shenanigans, too
Ghost in the Shell and The Drama are both weirdly wonderful and wonderfully weird
- Second viewing of Invite, and still the best of 2026 for me (haven’t seen Odyssey yet, but the bar is high). - Past Lives the all time classic. - The Furious has one of the most unique, creative, and well executed fight sequences of all time? - Michael Clayton is.
Uhhhh... 😳 The Furious has a truly unique concept / perfectly executed all-timer fight sequence, holy hell.
Based on the source material, Supergirl could've been so good! 😭 Alas... The Invite is incredible. Tuner was really solid. Close Encounters is one of Spielberg's all timers (Disclosure day was mostly disappointing - gave it 2.5 stars)
The Drama is pretty fucking good! Other stuff is better, but it's pretty good! Been a while since I'd watched Dead Poets and damn it made me 😭
Movie with driving scenes of various stress levels… Also, can’t recommend highly enough watching Almodovar while visiting Madrid.
My @letterboxd.social Oscars ballot 🏆 - Will probably win 🤟 - Should win IMO 👌 - Okay with me if it wins #oscarboxd #oscars2026 #oscars
4 very different kinds of "adventures" with varying degrees of "friends" along for the "ride" ... All confronting some form of "darkness" 🤔
3 stone cold classics (yes, Weapons is that fucking good), and an interesting auteur misfire (somewhat held up by Austin Butler and a cat)
2 best picture nominee films, and 2 other films that should’ve at least been nominated for best picture 😘 … Fuck me, Secret Agent is so good.
