The NCAA has decided they will now allow beer and alcohol companies to sponsor March Madness and run ads to pay for the expanded tournament. For now, gambling companies will NOT be permitted to advertise during games.

As a registered nurse, I feel professionals in fields with life and death responsibility over those whom they serve all need to be held to a high level of training, certification and accountability and that includes law enforcement professionals, including our Sheriffs. Some Sheriffs have said that they should be allowed to serve although they lack certification "because the voters elected me." However, POLICING IS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST. It is a profession requiring training, skill, and ethical behavior - no different from a doctor or a nurse. We should be confident that whoever is elected is QUALIFIED to serve as Sheriff.

I urge you to vote YES when it comes up for a vote.

Have heard from an Iranian friend that her partner in Teheran has sent her a message. He is a leftist and is telling her that the US/Israelis are targeting a number of known leftists homes in Teheran and elsewhere in an attempt to make sure there's no opposition to their favoured candidate once they destroy the regime. What this reveals is the degree of penetration by Mossad in Iran. What it also means is that this is not going to be an easy occupation for the US and its Israeli buddies.
