The good news? We have a fully mature pumpkin. The bad news? There is no way this is making it to Halloween. The silver lining? I have a second vine that just started blooming.

We are getting along pretty early

A large group of sea lions in Monterey at San Carlos Beach. A handful are in the water but a good couple dozen are laying in a group on the sand.

A house finch decided to lay her eggs next to my back door. I hope we don't spooky her too much with going in and out.
