It can be hard to make friends after you get memory-wiped and shoved inside a death mech. You should still try, though.
So, from what I've learned Cons of living in the DG universe: > occasional organ robbery > no flavor in the food :( > you may be exploded depending on net worth Pros: > 20 movies exist > survivable amounts of oxygen (usually) > you might see photos of other people’s pets from the before-times
All you really need to survive the post-apocalypse is unlimited airhorns, some cool stickers, and a hype man.
I have never even seen Darkhawk before but I feel like I can relate as the world's last Venom: Space Knight enthusiast
This nightmare is almost certainly my gateway into Metroid-style collect-thing-shoot-thing platformers
As Tears Go By is probably my favorite one by him that I've seen. It might be a bit of a smoother watch: A forbidden love story, gangster fights, lots of neon-tinted street shots. This and a pint of ice cream on a rainy night is probably THE peak cinematic experience
Now that I've been unplugged for a little while, time to log back in and see what my mutuals have been— Oh fuck what did I do now
I must assume that whoever recommended I play Kenshi also deals hard drugs
Another one?! FromSoft is releasing *another* thing. I don't know what The Duskbloods is but I'm so behind on my homework, please. Let me play the other fifteen games since DS3 please.
I was not hype at ALL for Nintendo Switch 2 until Direct mentioned GameCube remasters Finally, I can be an obnoxious Kilik main again
Hey, thanks Tega! @rockito.bsky.social @siliconlifeform.bsky.social @itsmebel.bsky.social (Challenge: No soulslikes allowed, Bel!) Surprisingly? Not dark fantasy. New Vegas is one of my all-time favorites. I replayed until I earned every achievement, including DLC. This game is part of me now.
More thoughts on HLB, because I can't stop thinking about it: I've had so much trouble figuring out whether this game is good. My conclusion: It's fine. I just don't think it knows what it wants to be. Soulslike? Kinda boss rush? Not quite bullet hell? Almost a roguelike? Breath of the Wild?!
Well, you know, I wouldn't call this a "Jeez Louise what the fuck" length video, but rather a simple "zoo wee mama" Guess I'm satisfied with that
Cool, someone has finally conveyed why the "roguelike" store tag has started to become a turnoff for me. I think me from five years ago would rush to play Nine Sols or Hades 2, but the term has taken on a "sink hours of your life into struggle bait for little reward" aftertaste that makes me shrug
It's really popular right now, I swear. I see it winning GOTY 2024 with a last-minute nomination.
Got called an uninspired NPC by a goddamn AI, and am now reevaluating all life choices "Red flags: Has a game backlog longer than your attention span Frequently lost in RPG dialogue trees May reference obscure media that no one cares about" Threw in my dead dog as a cherry on top, gg bot
