While waiting at Dunfermline City station, a Scotrail Tannoy announcement played. It was about putting brakes on wheelchairs & prams. I'm pretty sure there was someone coughing in the background of the recording as the man carefully read his script. Which was instantly endearing. And very human.

I'm reading Astro City by @kurtbusiek.bsky.social for the 1st time & it's a revelation. It feels real. Honest, human stories. Characters I can believe in and sympathise with. Stories that make my soul smile, wince, ache. Quality work. It should be mentioned in the same breath as the greatest comics.

I backed on KS at £21.00 paperback level and then ordered the 'floppy' at £7.99 on BackerKit. I got excited about the Super Deluxe edition so added that with an extra paperback edition to gift to a friend. In total £145.98 All I have received is the 'floppy' version. #whatTFTQowesme

FINALLY got my mits on a copy of Secrets of The Majestic (instigated by @chrismole.bsky.social who must be commended for the superb packaging -- complete with a sample of bog roll) 😂 I'm looking forward to reading it.
