#NowEating Used up the last of BBQ sauce on pork chops with chips & salad. There were 2 bits of pinapple but one fell onto the charcoal.

We fired up our grill tonight & did lamb & aubergine shawarma. Bloody good it was too.

SHAWARMA! Chicken thighs from our bonkers Italian butchers, shawarma paste by the fab Ottolenghi, rice & shepheard's salad recipes from the wonderful Yasmin Khan.

New season English asparagus with spagetti alla limone made with new season Italian lemons & a nice bottle of Spanish Albarino. We're nothing if not pan-European.

Had friends over last night so made cicchetti & had enough left overs to have some tonight with a Campari soda*. *NO OLIVE!

Went to this amazing exhibition today at the Japan House in Kensington. Truely inspiring. Makes me want to go back to two of my favorite things at Secondary School, pottery & woodwork.
