Bicycles. Punk rock didn't save the world, but it should have. I try to stay on topic, but you're going to get random posts about housing, gardening, preserving/canning, dogs, and baseball.
You should tell her that out in the hinterlands we even have bike lockers at our library.
Volunteer watermelons. I didn't plant them, but they had taken over my corn patch.
In the late 80s the be-all of MTB tires were the Tioga Farmer John and the Farmer John's Cousin. You ran a Cousin in the front and an FJ in the back with its chevron style tread pointing backwards. Great tires as long as you were going straight. Now, stop making me feel old.
Bromptons are famous for their luggage block that mounts to the head tube and then lets you interchange bags and racks.
Making tomato paste. These are a variety of tomatoes, but a lot of Amish Pastes, which I haven't grown before. But I will again because I've found them to be really good for preserving.
I still say they should have ride time trials on this bike in those clothes instead of their stupid modern helmets.
IT's officially tomato season. I've forgotten what variety these are. Maybe Cherokees?
Some more of Riverside Public Works' hits from over the years. I swear no one there has ever ridden a bicycle. Both of these were to impede unhoused people from getting to the Santa Ana River bottom. Other trail users be damned.
Just how are you supposed to press the beg button? The @cityofriverside.bsky.social Public Works Department does some weird things.
It frustrates me to constantly hear that all of the homeless are mentally ill drug users, as the Riverside City Council would have you believe. It's just not true.
Every day at my local park. (And that's a poorly painted bike lane under those cars, too.)
Don't believe the sizzle Subaru is trying to sell about the Canyonero, er, Outback. Sales are still down 22% from last year's outgoing version.
Donald Trump has lost his war with Iran, but all he got you were some crazy gas prices.
