It might be time to break this one out again. I like to think the misplaced apostrophe represents my misplaced hope for this season.

It was dark tonight, but here’s a photo I took Tuesday! The M’s lost, but I met a new Bluesky mutual and ate a hot dog and really tried to appreciate how many good people I have met lately. Fighting fascism is exhausting, but there is so much love and beauty in the world, and I won’t let it go.

The pointed clock tower at the Amtrak station in Seattle. The sky is a gradient light to dark blue, and there are a few pink-ish wispy clouds in the sky. The brick tower is lit up and you can’t really tell what time it is, but it still looks nice.

Didn’t get any videos, but I DID wake up to find her asleep under the drying rack ready for round 3 😂

Forgot to post this earlier, but I watched last night’s 7th inning (per recommendations from several people since I missed the game), and wow, 🚨 Jhonathan Díaz mentioned! 😂 (Angie brought up the Jomboy lip reading video after the camera panned to Ferguson screaming at the ump who blocked a play)

Luke Raley is wearing his home Mariners white jersey and navy blue batting helmet. The score bug shows it’s Cincinnati 0 Mariners 7 with 2 on and 2 out for the Mariners. They’re out of challenges and the Reds have one. The subtitles say “…much. No. Jhonathan Díaz boy needed for that one.”

I love my neighborhood

A white sticker that says “I prefer my ICE crushed”. The text is black, but “ICE” is red. There’s a black boot above the word “crushed”. It’s on the side of a light pole. The intersection and some cars are visible in the background.

No idea what this flower is called, but it’s a tall column of rich pink petals stacked on top of each other. The stalks are tall and have big leaves down the stems.

Lou Piniella doing what he did best, kicking his baseball cap angrily on the field of a baseball stadium (probably Safeco Field). “Shoes on the Danube Bank” in Budapest. Dozens of pairs of iron shoes, it serves as a memorial for the Hungarians, many of them Jewish, murdered by fascists in Budapest during WWII. Victims were forced to remove their shoes (bc they were valuable and could be resold) and then shot into the river.

Earlier today, 7/6, Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN) released this information about ICE activity and trends in tactics for May 2026. Anecdotally, activity and abductions have increased significantly month over month I am urging you to do something. I will post some suggestions below

85 reports of immigration enforcement activity came through the WAISN Deportation Defense Hotline and Rapid Response Teams in May. We were able to confirm the detention of 79 people, with the heaviest confirmed activity in King, Whatcom, and Skagit counties-and particular hotspots in Bellingham, Seattle, Tukwila, Ferndale, and Mount Vernon.

In May, most reported detentions occurred in public spaces, including traffic stops and, increasingly, in the area surrounding courthouses. A black cat is perched on the side of a cat tree platform, but in a very confusing way. The majority of her body is laying on the platform, but her front legs are hanging out front of the platform and her tail is hanging off the side. This is all I think about when someone says “Lenny Kravitz”

I thought about being embarrassed by my poor drawing skills, but then I remembered what I was drawing on and decided that I do not need to feel shame about this if they don’t.
