To get the frayed edges of these I rip the canvas by hand, which results in piles of canvas string. I started painting the string because it results in diffuse blobs that are hard to get with just a brush. But then it leaves me with a huge amount of painted string I need to use

tbh I think it's more likely this team gets upset in the 2nd round one year, somehow fails to make the playoffs the next year and gets salvaged for parts shortly thereafter than that it becomes a dynasty
