The only good news about this heat is that my plants are VERY happy about it!! I’ve been keeping them watered and they’ve really grown a lot over the last few days!

Our hydrangea is blooming for the first time and the blooms are SO PRETTY 😭😭 I hope we can catch them all bloomed at once so we can dry some of them! And I hope they stay this color next year, but if not I’ll adjust the soil pH and hopefully fix it! Picky princess

Jessie made the chicken tenders I would sell my soul for last night and they were SO GODDAMN GOOD, I’m so serious I have never had better chicken tenders in my life

Garden plants are coming along! Tomatoes, peppers, and yardlong beans in these pics but I also have peas, cucamelons, bok choi, and more peppers and tomatoes in my other raised bed slots! The beans came up SO fast, there was nothing even a few days ago and now??

Yummmmmm holy shit I made a brine that had soy sauce, brown sugar, smashed garlic, star anise, and peppercorns in it, and then made a curry rub and put them on the grill and it turned out SO GOOD 100% would recommend

I made some fried dandelion blossoms today from ones I picked in my yard! I put curry powder and ginger in the flour mixture along with the actual ingredients and cooked them in coconut oil so they’re like a tasty curried dandelion!
