That one time I did a semi-decent Milky Way picture near Penygader, Wales. Back in May 2025. Never made it to the summit at midnight because of my lack of fitness. But I'm working to correct that! Sony A7R III Tamron 24mm f2.8 Di III OSD
I know I already own a FED-4, but I can’t help but admire it. There’s a certain beauty in its rustic, commie design.
Rays of sunshine. On the way home from town one evening, the setting sun was putting on a good show. Canon AV-1 Canon FD 50mm f1.8 Fujicolor 200 #BelieveInFilm #FilmIsNotDead #FilmPhotography

Sherman Tanky Tanks from the Capel Military Show. None of my shots are truly in focus. Looks like the focus is still out a bit! Might adjust it, depends on whether I can be bothered... Seagull 203 Ilford XP2 #ShittyCameraChallenge @shittychallenge.bsky.social
Yayyy. My shitty film from my shitty Seagull came back and they look alright! Looks like it focuses fine and the exposure isn’t shitty after I cleaned the aperture blades! #shittycamerachallenge

Got the roll out of the Seagull 203, but with some difficulty. Looks like it started chewing up the film. Still gonna finish it and hope for the best! After all, it’s all about the shitty cameras! 😂 @shittychallenge.bsky.social
Out being shitty with the Seagull 203. One nice little feature of this camera is that you can shoot in either 6x4.5 or 6x6. Today is a 6x6 day. #ShittyCameraChallenge @shittychallenge.bsky.social
Naval Gun firing at the Capel Military Show. A firing that signifies the opening of the show. Filmed this with the OM-5 Mark II using a Canon FD 70-150mm f4.5 lens on a tripod and a Rode Video Mic. Standard in camera settings (4k 23.98fps) and edited in DaVinci Resolve.

Oooo the Canon FD 35mm f2.8 I ordered arrived today. And it even comes with a lens hood! I’ve never got an FD lens that came with its dedicated lens hood! (Exceptions being the lenses with a hood built in).
Successfully finished a roll in the Seagull 203. Had to shoot it the roll at 200 ISO. Will see how it turns out in the near future!
Browsing fleabay for a new desk fan because my one broke today and couldn’t help but noticed this AI produced product image with a camera that looks distinctly commie in design.
Current arsenal for the @shittychallenge.bsky.social . After some testing the Seagull 203 appears to be focusing correctly and the disposables are left over from Christmas that were supposed to be stocking fillers that never made it into stockings 😅
A few bokeh shots taken with my "new" Canon nFD 50mm f1.4 at f1.4. Quite hard to focus with that narrow depth of field! But surprisingly sharp for an old lens. I think I'm going to get a lot of use out of this lens! Camera used was my Sony A7R III
Decided to treat myself after seeing it for a good price on fleabay. Gonna replace the older FD 50 1.8 I have as it’s quite a knackered lens which I think has traces of fungus in it.
Some close-up shots from the nature reserve on Saturday. The Tamron 150-500mm lens has a pretty decent macro ability for a super telephoto. Especially when paired with a high resolution camera like the Sony A7R III allowing for aggressive cropping.
Spent a day at my local nature reserve where a couple of Kingfishers have been spotted. Managed to see one today and get the shots! Sony A7R III Tamron 150-500mm f5-6.7 Di III VC VXD #WildlifePhotography #Kingfisher #NaturePhotography #BirdPhotography
Sooty has found the heat to be a bit stifling this week. He's spent most of his time napping outside in shady spots.
I wasn't aware there was a Holga that did 6x9 or 6x12, but here it is. Possibly shitty, or brilliant because of its shittiness. @shittychallenge.bsky.social

Looks like the operation was a success. These settings are f11 with 1/2 sec shutter. No delays on opening. Only thing that worries me now is the focusing. Think I set the focus correctly, but until I shoot a roll, I have no idea if it’s accurate!
