Confident I solved this mystery on July 31, 2023. While overlooking the river from the Monument at Saint Thomas in Saint Paul at 5pm, I heard the BOOM. then witnessed smoke rolling out of this 12ft high sewer pipe and two dudes running out of the pipe and into the nearby brush. CASE CLOSE!

Don’t often eat breakfast but today’s brunch is an egg fried over easy in homemade chili, garlic, sesame oil, on a toasted Asiago bagel with Fontina cheese. I’m delighted with how this turned out. 🤤
